Default Double-choice element
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MER5730BAQ
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hi,
I have two problems with my oven. Can you please advice what I need to do.

1. My Maytag ceramic top range has the 9" and 6" element in one (the forward right one). The 6" element does not heat, it is like a black spot inside of the 9" element when I turn the range on.

2. The hot surface indicator light almost always is on, even if surface is cold.

Thank you.
