Question Door lock problem
Brand: Electrolux
Model Number: GLEFS77CSB
Age: 1 - 4 years

My Electrolux starting going bonkers on me with the panel showing odd combinations of letters and numbers blinking on and off. I was baking at the time and opened the door to take my food out. Apparently the bad board thought the oven was in self-clean mode so the "lock arm" came out to lock the door even though the door was open. I was getting an F1 after that and I got a new board and I put it in and everything works except that the "lock arm" won't retract and I can't close the door. Help!

You will have to pull the range out a manualy move the rod to the unlock position.

Here is a link to your range model GLEFS77CSB.

Thanks for the input Sheila but I found a much simpler method over the weekend. I just held down the door switch with my finger, turned the oven to clean mode, let it start (just about 5 seconds) and then pressed Clear/OFF. The arm re-positioned itself and the problem was solved.
