The oven door latch is locked , but the door is open, cannot be closed tighly. We are in a cabin for the week end and did not clean the oven. It wasn't latched when we arrived. Just locked when I tried to turn on. Amana ACF4255A

You may have to go to the back of the stove and manually disengage the locking mechanism.

It is hard to say why it did this but it might be a problem in the control.

Please check your model number as there is one or two characters missing at the end.
