Default Door hinge - retainer
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: CRE9500ACE
Age: More than 10 years

I have a Maytag electric range - model year is 1993. Trying to install new door hinges. I've disassemble to where I'm at the metal retainer panel and have no idea how to remove it. It will bend a little but not enough to slide out. Looks like I'd have to disassemble most of the body (yikes!) but that seems drastic. Seems like I'm so close...yet so far.

By the way, the retainer number is 3804F103-51 if that helps.

Thanks.

To replace the hinge you will have to remove the top to access the screws to remove the side panel.

Here is a link to your range model CRE9500ACE.
