Default Damaged GE double oven
Brand: Please select
Model Number: JTP28BFBB
Age: Less than 1 year

I had an accident with a brand new (never used) double oven. The damage was to the control area. It received a very bad blow, caused by backing into a over head obstacle and hitting the control panel area. I have ordered the parts to repair the unit. My question is about the control face. Does it come from the supplier with the little steel angle brackets that are used to attach the actual control mechanism? The brackets in question are used to clamp the mechanism to the face using four screws. Any help would be appreciated sine I have not received the new parts ordered and the parts breaks do not show the angles. Mine are damaged also.

Thanks, fishingbuddy

I did not see them in the breakdown either. I have seen them come with the brackets. Don't normally have to replace a control panel other then the touch pad needing to be replaced. I can be reached at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
