Default Which Crystal Window do I need?
Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: RB7578
Age: Please select

There are three parts that come up as Crystal Window for this Hotpoint model:

PS251937 (WIND PACK SM) Part #338 on diagram
PS251954 (CRYSTAL WIND) Part #338 on diagram
PS247522 (CRYSTAL WIND) Part #390 on diagram

The first one obviously has extra parts such as a metal grid.

But what is the difference between the second two? I can't even find part #390 on the diagram at http://genet.geappliances.com/IPCNet...017708.p03.pdf

In my oven, the inner glass mysteriously shattered one day. I don't even know how it happened, we just found the inner glass fractured into many pieces. The oven still works, but it looks funky and I'll fix it if it isn't too pricey.

Do I need extra parts to install the glass? Which window do I need? And does this repair require any special expertise or just normal assembly skills? I've repaired parts in my washer without any problems, but haven't dealt with glass before.

Advance thanks for any help you can offer.

To make sure that you get the right part you will need your complete model number.

There should be rb757 and then up to five more digits after that.
