Default Cooktop / ignitor doesn't spark
Brand: Other
Model Number: pgm304
Age: 5 - 10 years

the unit is a Dacor 4-burner gas cooktop (PGM304)
left side burners light okay. no spark from either R side ignitor.
if a R side dial is turned to the ON position, the unit senses a non-lighting situation and attempts to remedy by sparking one of the L side ignitors.
any help appreciated.
TIA
jerry

You have a bad igniter module.

Sorry I don't have a parts breakdown for the Dacor brand.

you need a special wrench to open up the burner.
And yes, you can open it up from the top side.
