My 6/9 dual ribbon radiant element does not heat. The knob was removed for cleaning and re-installed wrong and got stuck. We pulled it off and since then the element does not work. What parts do you think I need?

Do you still have to push down on the switch to turn it?

Can you please supply the last two letters of your model number?

Check and see if you are getting power to the switch.

Then check and see if you are getting power to the element.

Here is a link to your cook top model AKT3650E.
