Have purchased a replacement element for my Creda cook top, (received part from Hot Point who now owns Creda). Naturally, the new element is made differently than the old one in that the new one has 4 terminals - the old one had 4 terminals PLUS 2 more terminals connecting directly to the coil ends. Now... my problem is how in the world do I put this one in?

How do we determine which of the old wires correspond to the new ones on the part that was sent? The part no. is: 6203422, (Creda 1800W, S# 20100038). Help, help help!!! Thank you!:

The best thing to do is contact GE to see if they can provide you with the wiring instruction.

Because the Creda brand is from the UK I don't have any information on your brand.
