Default Cook Top
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: CVE3401B
Age: 5 - 10 years

The fan knob on the cooktop works fine, isn't broken, but falls down into the slot. I have to remove the vent cover, and pull the knob up to get it to work. I doubt buying a new knob will fix the problem. Can you tell me what else to try?

Thanks

There is a nut that hold the switch up in place and it must be loose.

Pull the knob of and tighten the nut up.
