Question Conversion Kits.....
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FGFL87DSE
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi......I'm moving and I need to change out two ranges. One house runs on LP and the other on Natural. These are two different ranges from two different companies. Does anyone know if conversion parts can be exchanged between ranges of different brands?

I need my Fridgidaire to go from Natural to LP and I think I found the part PS981337 (#47) @ $23.28 but the part for the GE range, I'm unsure if it's the right one or not. The model # for the GE is JGBP28WEJ1WW. It shows the part # as PS954059 but it doesn't give any details on here. It just shows that the part is an envelope and that's it!

Anyone that can help me, I'd appreciate it. It'd be "SWEET" if I could just change the orfice between the two ranges and be done with it. Peggy5

I can't say for sure but it may be a good idea to call a gas company.

They likely change all different brands and will know if there are interchangeable.
