Default Control panel not working
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: SVD48600P
Age: 5 - 10 years

Has anyone ever had any experience with Whirlpool/Maytag/Jenn-Air SVD48600P control panel? My heating element blew out the other day and since that time my control panel is non-functioning and does not light up at all. When I turn on the power to the unit a fan is constantly running. Any ideas?

You are saying that the clock control is totally black. If so, you need to replace it. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Here is a service maual
http://www.servicematters.com/maytag...s/16010191.pdf

I would turn your circuit breaker on/off slowly a couple times.
Could be you are missing half of the 220 volts.
Sometimes the breakers shut off without actually giving a trip indication.
Does your oven light work?
It gets it's power from N and L2 same as the control board
