Default Control board?
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GJP8402
Age: 5 - 10 years

Have a whirlpool gold series range, purchased in Canada. The top element works fine but the bottom one works erratically, checked bake element & its OK, checked for loose/broken wiring (none found). There is only one temp sensor, a electric type that operates both elements. Checked its resistance at various temps & they compare to chart.
It appears to be a problem with the controller/timer unit maybe its just a dry solder joint on PCB. When temp drops below set point you can here a clicking sound from the control board (relay) sometimes bake element comes on & other times not at all (The broil element works fine).
In any event cannot pinpoint problem area so am planning to replace control board. However it appears that part#9754261 required for this model#GJP84902 is is no longer available.
Need help to source this control board.
Thanks,
Todd
