Default Connection of replacement dual burner switch
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JES8750AAB
Age: 1 - 4 years

Item: MAC 12002125 Kit, dual infinite switch

The dual infinite switch that I received is a completely different
configuration from the one that it is supposed to replace. The size and
physical mounting are fine, however the electrical connections are
completely different. There are many connections that must be made to this
switch. The switch was also shipped with two jumpers that may or may not be needed. How am I supposed to know which position on the factory switch
corresponds to a particular position on the replacement switch? Your web
site shows a schematic of the wiring diagram, however I don't know how to
relate it to either the new or old switch.

The connection are in different places but the will go no the same terminal numbers as they where before.

Place the L1 wire on the L1 terminal of the new switch.

Place the L2 wire on the L2 terminal of the new switch either one is fine because they are joined together.

Place the H1 wire on the H1 terminal of the new switch.

Place the H2 wire on the H2 terminal of the new switch.

Place the P wire on the P terminal of the new switch.

Sheila,
Thank you for your response, however I'm still a bit confused. The replacement switch terminals are labeled: S1, S2,P1, P2, 2, 4, 4a. There are no L or H terminals.

I also have the dual infinite switch kit and the same problem figuring out how to hook it up. Did you get a useable answer? If so, please post it here.
Thanks.

Can any of you send a picture of the old switch and the new switch with a copy of the instruction that came with the switch?

You will have to us your wiring diagram to see which color wires go to which terminals.
