Question Code F7
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JKP15W
Age: More than 10 years

I am showing Code F7. The key pads are non responsive. I disconnected the ribbon connector and could only get a key pad responce on the bake control.
Do I have to replace the whole control panel. It would seem that I need Part Select # PS238565. The present part #'s are GEA 191D1576P012 and Robertshaw Part # 100-01069-09

Check the ribbon connector for corrosion.

The F7 means a stuck key or a bad clock control.

To make sure you get the right parts you will need the end of your model number.

It will be on the tag on the frame of the oven where the door closes.

It will be a letter then a number and then two letters after the JKP15W.

The last letters are usually for the color.

You have the clock part number PS238565.

The key pad is part of control panel.

I cleaned the contacts and it seems to be working for the present.

Thanks for your help.
