Sheila - we have a similar issue with our double ovens by GE Profile .. they're around 10 years old which we consider young since we hardly use them.. the computer control panel used for settings has a mind of its' own lately. It will not permit us to turn either oven 'on', or set the clock, etc anymore since Saturday.

We have a persistent F7 error code that appears on the right edge of the panel window. A constant 10 second intermittent beep can only be disabled by using the LEFT panel's 'Clear' button. We were told by the GE repair hotline that the entire panel must be bad and needs to be replaced. This cannot be true! We've only used the thing probably 100 hours in 10 years, and have only used the self-cleaning feature for either oven twice. It just gets too hot and scares us. Anyway, help ... is there a reset button someplace ?? We have tried switching the house power source off for 60 seconds to re-set that way, to no avail. Same problem. There is power to the ovens. Both lights work inside. Ideas?

Can you please supply your model number.

The F7 code is likely a bad clock if you can't clear it.
