Default Clock / Range Contol
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: 3889 VRV
Age: 5 - 10 years

The clock and oven display goes on and off intermitantly, it may come back on if you press on the control panel but not always in the same spot. I took the control board out and soldered almost all connections on the board except the main IC. All the burner controls work. Before I order a new clock module at $300.00 plus dollars is there anything else thaat could be wrong besides the module?

Thank You
Tom

The clock display should be on at all times unless there is a power failure.

If all the wiring connection are tight it is the control.

Here is a link to your range model 3889 VRV.
