I am looking for directions on how to remove the clock and oven control unit.

It appears that the top (glass type) does not lift up.

The part # for the clock & oven unit is MAC 12001305

There are locking clips that hold the top down.

Using a putty knife push the clips in to pop the top up.

There is one in each corner of the top at the front.

Once the top is up you will have access to the screws to remove the clock.
