Default Ceramic Top installation instructions
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 629.46796
Age: 1 - 4 years

I scratched my cooktop and ordered a new one. It came but without any installation instructions. Any idea where I can get some? He won't fix it without it! (I'm not really sure about the age as the stove was in the house when we bought it three years ago.)

This range is a slide in type so you will have to raise the range with the leveling leg so when you pull it out you will not damage your counter top.

Unplug it from the wall.

Open the oven door and remove the screws securing the main top to the oven chassis.

These screws are located on the bottom of the control panel and along the outside edges of the maintop.

Label and disconnect the wiring to the elements.

Remove the top.

Here is a link to the parts of your range model 629.46796.
