Default Ceramic cooktop infinate control switch replacement
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KECC507KBT1
Age: 1 - 4 years

I ordered and received a replacement infinate control switch for my cooktop. The sw. I received does not look like or have the same connection tabs as the original sw. I checked a number of parts sites and the ones that had a pic of the replacement showed the one I received. When I check the stop positions of this one against the other good one still in the cooktop they match. The problem is this sw connection tabs are numbered differently and there are two more tabs than the origional. The sw came without a diagram or replacemant instructions so I am not sure where to attach what wire to where. The part callout is 7 and the part # is 4456027. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Gene

Gene, call kitchenaid. They give great help, and tell them your situation. You will have that number on your manual, or on the model # tag. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
