Default Burners do not ignite
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: SF367LEKQ
Age: 5 - 10 years

two of my gas top burners refuse to ignite, even though there's the clicking noise making it sound like it's trying...it gets gas because I can manually light them, and it's just two out of the 4 that have this issue. I've cleaned around the ignite area and I know there's noting blocking the area of the electric ignite...any ideas how to get my cooktop working at 100% again or am I doomed to comtinue to have long matches close by?

I took a look at that picture of your product, and there was not much detail. But if you light the burners with a match, do they work fine? If so, there has to be a air adjustment below the burner assembly. It will be a metal piece that will slide around the gas tube of the burner, you might try decreaseing the air flow first, and see if it works, you might have to increase it. I can be reached at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
