the outer glass is broken, we have removed most of it, but there is some still stuck to the metal panel that screws into the door. do we need to get a new piece of glass...a new panel with glass...or a whole new door?

All you should need is a new glass.

Can you please verify your model number?

If this is a range the model number should be on a tag on the frame where the drawer closes.

If it is a wall oven the tag will be locate just below the door.
