How do you get access to the Oven Door inner glass window to replace it?

The pivots points on the oven door hinges are riveted together, so I can not remove the door.

Please advise on the steps necessary to replace the inner glass window. (I think it is Item #12 on the schematic)

If window can not be replaced, can I just remove the broken glass, then attach a
metal cover over the window port?
