this is A double wall oven when you select broil or bake on the selector switch on the bottom oven just the broil element gets hot. This oven shorted out from the back of the the frame to the bake element and that is when this all started.When you turn up the temp on the same oven it will also start the broiler working with the selector switch OFF'
So I am thinking it is the selector switch because the baking element does not work can you Help ME out

It sound like the contact in the selector switch have welded together but check the bake element to see if it has continuity.
