Unhappy Broiler Element Stuck On!
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: 316244487
Age: 5 - 10 years

HELP! While baking chicken, the broiler element turned on and now will not turn off. The oven is turned off, yet the broiler is burning red. It has to be unplugged to be off. What's wrong with it?

It may be the control that has failed.

Can you please verify your model number?

The model number can be found on the frame of the range where the drawer closes on a tag with the serial number.
