When you turn the oven off the broiler element turns on and it won't turn off unless you trip the breaker??? What causes this and how do I fix it?

sounds like a faulty oven control, test the broil leads for continuity from l1 and l2 to the broil element (unplugged of course) and if there's continuity, you need a new control
