Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: W 105
Age: More than 10 years

My electric oven's bottom element is not working. Should I check anything else, or just replace the element? Serial # 68002760

I would pull the element, and make sure there is not a burn't wire, and then check the element with a Ohm meter to see if it is good. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

There are two screws inside the oven above the element. Do these screws hold the element in place?

Thanks for all your help. I measured my element - it is 16" long. The Jenn-Air bake element on Part Select is 17" - it will not hit the door. Will this work?

It will be fine. If you need to bend it in any way, do it before you turn it on for the first time. Tom ApplianceEducator.com Tom
