Default Baking element won't heat up
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FEF322BADE
Age: More than 10 years

The old baking element burnt in two and was replaced. Now the new element will not heat up. The broiling element will heat up when knob turned to "broil". The light under the "oven" knob comes on when turned on. Is the problem the thermostat, the bake/broil knob, or something else?

It sound like the selector switch may be your problem.

Follow the wiring diagram and have a look in the control panel to see if there are any wires burnt off.
