When I set the bake setting at 400 and come back 45 minutes later, the reading is 153. I hit the bake button, where it does show that I set it for 400. I then hit the start button again, but in about 10 minutes the oven goes off. All the while the timer is still working properly. Help PLEASE !!!

It could very well be your oven ignitor. Take the bottom of the oven out, and look at it, when you turn the oven on. It is most likely weak, and you need to replace it. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
