Question Bake element won't work
Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: RB757W B1
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have the same problem that JMUR51 stated in December. I ordered a new bake element and that didn't work. I thought that one was bad and I was sent a replacement, but that didn't work. I read a repair story about it being the electronic clock control, so I ordered that part, but when I tried to replace mine the newer one didn't show the same connections. I have a dark blue wire not a purple one, I have a red wire and not a black wire. The instructions also say to rotate the yellow wire but I can't get it rotate or pull off. I am afraid to pull hard because I don't won't to break the wires.

The model # on my panel is GE model 164D3147G041

Part won't work, mine is made differently.
