Bad dispay

5 - 10 years
I know you can replace this bd. ps120853 but this is my 2nd one in 10 years and would like to replace the faulty component instead of the whole bd.does anyone know the bad part.

It is likely a capacitor that has failed on the circuit board of the clock.
An electronic shop may be able to determine which one and replace it.
