Default Amana range/oven puch buttons
Brand: Amana
Model Number: ARS63WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

We have an Amana range oven with pushbutton controls on the front. Works fine except the push buttons fall out and won't stay in when replaced. I searched the forum but nothing on these pesky buttons. It seems the split plastic pieces that seems to be part of the electronic module are broken. The module costs over $200, Is there any fix for this short of buying a new module and installing it? I have put new buttons in but no luck. I appreciate a "button fix" short of replacing the module. Am using a toothpick now but the house is to be sold and I can't sell it with a range that needs a tooth pick to be functional.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hal

If you have replace the buttons and they are still not staying in the panel must be worn.

Replacing the control would not help a the buttons do not go into the clock they just push in on pads on the control.

Here is a link to your range model ARS636WW.
