Default Amana oven not holding correct temp
Brand: Amana
Model Number: AGR5735QDB
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have an AMANA Range Model: AGR5735QDB that will not keep a constant temp. I replaced the igniter 7 mo. ago, so it's likely not that. My question is, is the oven temp controlled by the "oven sensor kit"? If so, that looks easy enough to replace, is it?

When set at 350 for 15 min, it's varying between 297-307, but occasionally will dip to as low as 237. It's just not staying consistent at all.

Any help appreciated. I think the part # I need is PS46172.

Thanks in advance.

Jim

Hi again,

FYI, I replaced the sensor, and the oven, though a few degrees hot, is at least maintaining a constant temp again. Thanks for your help/advice!
