My Amana oven has recently been acting up and seems to be getting worse. I would occasionally notice a gas smell while baking and it seems to take longer to bake things. I assume its not firing back up when it demans more heat? Last night it was set to 400 and I noticed it wasnt very hot after running for 20 minutes. When I reset the oven it fired up, came back on and was reading 325.
Im handy and have replaced themocouples on waterheaters and ignigtors on furnaces but I dont have any experiences with gas ovens. Any quick fixes?

ok, Ive watched it a little closer. it takes 1-2 minutes to light the burner when there's demand for heat. I examined the ignitor, appears to be bright and no cracks
