Default Amana control panel or relay board?
Brand: Amana
Model Number: ars636e
Age: More than 10 years

Repair man jsut left telling me that parts for my range were no longer available and asking for $60.00 service call fee. Parts are available - as I see from this site.

When I turn the thermostate to bake or broil and set a temperature (it is digital) after about 40 seconds it turns off- so the oven doesn't heat. He said it needed a new 'board". In looking here I don't know if it needs a new control panel or a new electrical relay board.

Any ideas? whatever the answer I will be installing it myself..So any help on installation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Can you verify your model number?

There are a couple of characters missing so I am just getting a partial view of your parts list.
