Microwave/range hood combo. While removing large diash, bumped the lower latch pawl and it broke off (on door inside surface). Upper one works fine. Now unit runs continuously, can't cancel or stop it except by unplugging. Looking for replacement latch part. While troubleshooting I stuck a small peg into the latch hole which depresses the switch, then tried to operate it normally. Unit still keeps running, so I wonder if replacing the latch piece will really fix the problem.

I have seen this on several occasions, replace the latch and the Paw as you call it and all should be well!!!!!
