Hi experts,
I have a whirlpool appliance, top is microwave and bottom is Oven. The light went out last week and, I decided to replace it myself. I took it apart and, replace the light bulb with another one. Since, it was on the weekend I could not find the one exactly just like the one with the original. The original light bulb was 5 watt and I replace it with a 12 watt. Everything works but, it will not heat up. Any help would be greatly appreciate it. I should let you know that I am not a trained technician. I can not find a detailed drawing of this microwave anywhere at all.

If the microwave was working before you replace the bulb there must be a wire off somewhere.

The wiring diagram should be with the range.
