All that is visible is this nub of a light bulb in the middle of the top of the microwave, and there is no visible way to get behind the panel. Help. My wife overcooks everything already!

The bulb is a push in type of bulb.

Shut the power to the unit off and use a pair of pliers to pull the bulb out.

Yes, the bulb will pull out, but the bulb is covered by a glass tube. I've tried to pull out the glass tube but it won't budge. Again, all that is visible is the rounded end of this glass tube that the blub is encased with. Thanks for your help.

The lens over the bulb should just twist to come out.
