The seal/tape on the inside of the door developed a hole and needs replacing. I have one on its way but in the meantime, residue has developed on the inside of the glass panel. I would like to take the door assembly apart but have gotten as far as removing the plastic trim on the inside, removing the handle screws, and that's it.

What is the trick for dislodging the glass assembly?

If you have taken the door apart a leakage test should be done.

Have you taken the door off the microwave?

Can you please check your model number as it may be missing some characters at the end?

I have not taken door apart or off yet, simply removed the plastic cover to expose the inside of the door. The Model Number is
ACO1860AS
Those are all the digits.
