Default Start and Off Buttons Don't work
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JVM1533BD 005
Age: 5 - 10 years

The start and clear/off buttons are dead. All other buttons on the keypad work. Is this something I can repair myself or is it not worth it. New in 2003.

It sounds like the key pad has failed.

It is a replaceable part.

Here is a link to your microwave model JVM1533BD05.

Start and off buttons are very important parts for microwave.
Please change it.
