My wife put foil wrapped "Ready to Eat" prepared food in the microwave. We had a light show, lighting bolts, snaps the works. Now there is a small hole burned through the inside door (clear mess like plastic insert) in the bottom center portion of the insert panel. Our unit is 7 years old Stainless steel and black.

Do you have a replacement part?

I looked at the exploded view and there is something called a seal or seal-film. Part # PS471516, Is that what I need?
And if so is it in stock and how do you install it?

That is likely what you need.

The part is a special order part so it is not in stock.

This part should be installed by a technician.

The door of the microwave has to come apart and a leak test should be done after this repair.
