Default Sharp Microwave Thermister Info.
Brand: Sears
Model Number: R-8560
Age: More than 10 years

Hello,
I have a Sharp Convection /Microwave that works terrific and has provied excellent service through the years. This microwave looks and operates as though it just came out of the carton.
The only problem I have incurred with it, is when it is on the convection oven setting, it has burnt items. Years ago, I stopped by a Sharp Authorized Service Dealer and explained the problem and the technician said it sound like the Thermister is going bad. He gave me a Sharp Part # of ; FH-HZ0019 WREO. The part was $17.00 plus labor to install it with a total of $60.00.
Unfortunately, I never followed up on this part replacement, and the same dealer can no longer get this part. They said if I find the part they would install it for me, but that it is not very hard to install and I can probably install it myself. I know these microwaves have a capacitor that hold high voltage. Can anyone e-mail me a parts/repair schematic for this R-8560 model?
I believe I have found a Thermister at The Appliance Repair Clinic Website.
Any help with my request would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
John

The only place that you will find the wiring diagram is on the microwave.

The manufactures use to glue them to the cabinet inside.

As far as a service manual goes the best place to try is your local library.

Sheila,
I am not looking for the wiring diagram, I am looking for a parts schematic, or an exploded view of the microwave,(Sharp Model#8560), that shows the microwave broken down into pieces for part and part numbers reference.
Its called a "parts schematic" and is very common for viewing of appliance parts or any type of parts.
Thanks,
John

Sorry we do not have the Parts Breakdown for your microwave.

Maybe a local shop will let you look at the breakdown on microfiche.
