Default Sharp Convection Microwave-no power
Brand: Other
Model Number: R8350
Age: More than 10 years

Sharp Carousal Microwave Convection not working at all--no power. Just blew without any warning. Electrical outlet is OK. Probably the fuse(s). Any links to parts diagram would be appreciated to help locate the fuse(s). Parts list did not come with manual. I tried to find it on Sharp's website with no luck.
This unit is over 20 years old and this is the first problem I've had. I would hate to have to replace it for over $400 when it may be able to be repaired with a simple inexpensive fuse.
Also any safety precautions to be taken when checking the fuse. I know that you can still get a bad shock even after it's unplugged.
Thanks for any help.

Wink manuals

ronnie,

you've probably sorted this out by now (my wife wouldn't let ME go for 3 months without a microwave anyway, i have the same problem. i bought the manual online for $15, and then checked the fuse which was fine, and the door switches, which were fine. Anything else you learned?
