Default Replace Key Pad
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JVM1850SM1SS
Age: Less than 1 year

I need to know how to remove the vent cover over the door so that I can get to the keypad screw to remove it. There seems to be no visible screws for the cover. I found one note that said to slide the cover to the left, but that did not work. It was refering to a filter installation for a ventless unit. I have that, but the filter is on the bottom.

If your microwave is under a year old it should be under warranty.

You may void your warranty by repairing yourself.

Here is a link to your microwave model JVM1850SM1SS.
