 Radar Range Brand: Amana Model Number: RR 9 Age: More than 10 years
I would like a repair manual or some help in fixig an old Radar Range Microwave. I have had numerous microwaves but still revert to our old one as it has been the best they have built. I believe the relay has gone bad as when the time is set and the start button has been pushed, the oven starts and then when you release the start button, it stops. If you hold the start button through the time selected, the microwave works. I have cleaned the points on the relay and either this or something else has made the oven work for a few times.
Is there any help out there, especially a Schematic and a parts list to help me through the circuitry? I have worked in electronics all my life and enjoy the challenges of fixing things but a little help on this would be nice, Especially a parts catalog and some tips would sure be a help.
I realize this oven is old but they don't make them like they used to! |
