I was wondering if all microwaves can be childproof, I ask this because a friend of mines mentioned that all can be locked by pressing a combination of buttons. I forgot to ask her, but I thought it was a great idea to do so, when young kids are around, any help?

The only way that your microwave can be childproofed is if the control board has this function.

Your owners manual would instruct you on how it is done.
