I got my microwave about 9 years ago if not longer. It was in the middle of running and was working good and then it stopped. I went and cleared off the time left and tried to restart it. It did the sounds it normally does but the turntable and light did not come on. I wanted to know if the turntable motor could be bad but if so would the light not work at the same time. Or is there a short in the microwave ? I looked on the outside of the microwave and there isn't a model number . Thanks!

The model number should be on a tag on in the area where the door closes.

It is likely a faulty control board.
