Default Panasonic Microwave Smoking...
Brand: Other
Model Number: NN-T994SF
Age: 1 - 4 years
Yesterday our microwave starting smoking from underneath with a bad burning plastic smell. I unplugged and let it cool off. I tried again today and it only takes about 5 seconds for the burning smell to start again. As it is coming from underneath could it be the turntable motor?

Default Update....
After searching the web it appears this is a somewhat "common" problem with Panasonic Inverter microwaves... Out of warranty so looks like I have a 50lb stainless steel anchor if anyone is interested.... Does anyone know if this is common to Panasonic or all microwave brands. Was I just one of the unlucky few as I expect a microwave to last more than 2 years....
