Question Old Faithful Needs Help
Brand: Amana
Model Number: PP-10ET6
Age: More than 10 years

The door on our 1978 Amana Touchmatic II sticks. Putting oil on the gasket seemas to work for awhile but then it sticks again. I have looked for new gaskets but can't find any. Any ideas about how to prevent stick ing will ve appreciated. (Note: Model number is RR-10ET6 not PP-10ET6)

Try washing the gaskets and matting surface with hot soapy water.

If the gasket are getting sticky the rubber must be deteriorating.

I Have no information on this model but from the age I would think that the parts are no longer available.
