Microwave without turntable plate and ring also makes lot of noise

Hi:

I have GE Spacemaker XL1800 Microwave model number JVM1851BD002:

Even after I take out the turntable plate and the ring below it, it makes a lot of noise whenever the turntable is switch is on. The center piece on which the turntable plate rests does rotate with noise without the turn table plate too. Due to this, we use the microwave with the turntable off. Can this be fixed and is it an easy fix?

You will likely have to replace the turntable motor and the couple that the table sits on.
